Meet Our Volunteers
We are extremely fortunate to have parishioners that help in many ways; tag stock, file, clean, arrange and polish are a few examples. Here are some others:
Chris Anne Stavrianou finds volunteers for all store openings. Just call her at 330-453-1203 if you want to help out.
Fran Armatas pays bills and is our accountant with 8 years of experience with us.
Sophie Usner and Heleann Meder organize, complete orders and verify stock.
Diane Foradas and Sophie Usner head up sales.
Carolyn Hill handles all cards.
Mary Carpathios, Dolly Sousaris, and Jan Koutras are regular volunteers.
Stephanie Withers, Alex Tank and John Sakellariou kindly open for walk-in customers.
Elbus Kellamis organizes meetings.
Anna Paxo and those listed above are our committee alon with Father Nick and Xen Griveas who report to our Parish Council.

Our mission is to provide an easily accessible and affordable resource for the understanding of our Orthodox religion, history and traditions.

The Knossos Chapter of Canton of the Pancretan Association donated $5000 for the establishment of our bookstore in 1999. The purpose was to promote Orthodoxy for our children. It has since grown into a beautiful and prosperous arm of the church where you can purchase and order a full selection of books, icons, tapes and CDs, wedding and baptismal articles, and many beautiful and unique gift items.

Our volunteers meet monthly at the church to discuss concerns, new ideas, and communicate with the Parish Council. At our meetings we resolve issues, get updates on new products and sales, encourage volunteerism, and discuss finances and the upkeep of the store.

Our events are simply book signings, teas, and setting up displays on occassion (Orthodoxy Sunday at the designated location) and our monthly meetings.

For special appointments call the church office at 330-454-7278 Ext. 309.
