The Three Hierarchs, GOA's Patron Saints

Greek Orthodox Alliance Mission Statement Summary:

The GOA's function is to promote communication between the three parishes and coordination of Church Events and calanders. GOA's fundraising activities are for scholarships and community assistance.They meet every second Monday of each month at 6:30pm and rotate their meeting locations between the three churches. Members are appointed from each church. They include two Parish Council Members, two lay persons, the parish priest, and the President of the Parish Council. 

APPOINTED MEMBERS FOR 2010-2011
The appointed members representing St. Haralambos this year are Carol Capocci, from Parish council,  Members @ Large: Subdeacon Bill Poulos, Jr. George Foradis (GOA-Vice President) and  John Yatras from the parish; Father Nicholas Gamvas, parish priest and James Kellamis, President of the St. Haralambos Parish Council.

Second Saturday of Lent: Participate at the St. Gregory Palamas Lenten Retreat

January 10,17,24,31 February 7: Winter Bowling at Colonial Lanes for youth and parents. 2:00 - 4:00 pm. Contact: George Foradis

Saturday May 1st: Mother/Daughter Tea and How to Make Prosphoro Demonstration at St. George in Massillon

June: Support St. Haralambos Greek Summerfest

Thursday, June 24th: Vacation Bible School picnic for children and staff. 11:00am-1:00pm. Vacation Bible School hosted this year: June 21-25, 2010 at St. Haralambos. Mrs. Effie Valos, Coordinator

August: Support Holy Trinity Festival at Canton Civic Center

October: Support St. George Octoberfest in Massillon
